Sautéed Brocolli Parmesan

Ingredients

Brocolli | 1 head | May substitute 1 package frozen |
Salt | 2 tsp | |
Bacon | 3 strips | Fried in pieces |
Butter | 1 Tbsp | |
Parmesan | 4 Tbsp |
Method
- Soak fresh brocolli in cold salted water for 1 minutes
- Drain
- Cook about 20 minutes until almost tender
- While brocolli is cooking break up bacon into pieces and fry
- When brocooli is done drain it well
- Remove bacon from it’s grease
- Add butter to bacon pan
- Saute brocolli in bacon grease and butter until slightly browned
- Add bacon pieces and sprinkle with parmesan
