Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Ground Beef 1 1/2 lbs Recipe calls for Chuck
Onions 4 Cut up
Green Peppers 6  
Worcestershire Sauce To Taste  
Seasoned Salt To Taste  
Seasoned Pepper To Taste  
Garlic Powder To Taste  
Rice 2 cups  
Sugar 1 tsp  
Ragu Sauce 2 cups  
Cheese   Grated - Optional

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Cut tops off green peppers, and cut peppers in half lengthwise
  3. Set aside peppers halves
  4. Cut up pepper tops
  5. Cut up onions
  6. Brown beef, onions and cut up pepper tops
  7. Cook 2 cups rice in 4 cups water on low heat, with the lid on, for 25 minutes
  8. Add rice to beef mixture
  9. Add Worcestershire Sauce, Seasoned Salt + Pepper, and Garlic powder to taste
  10. Add sugar and Ragu sauce
  11. Mix well and fill pepper halves
  12. Place stuffed peppers in oven-safe pan
  13. Add 1/2 inch of water
  14. Bake for 1 hour
  15. If desired, place a little grated cheese on each pepper
