Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Cream Cheese 8 oz  
Sharp Cheddar 1 lb  
Onion 1 tsp Grated
Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp  
Paprika 1/2 tsp  
Parsely   For outside of balls
Ground Nuts   For outside of balls
Dried Beef   For outside of balls

Method

  1. Let cheddar and cream cheese come to room temperature
  2. In meantime, grate onion and finely chop dried beef
  3. Cut cheddar into small pieces
  4. Beat together cheedar and cream cheese
  5. Add onion, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Beat more.
  6. Shape into balls 1 inch in diameter
  7. Roll some balls in Parsely
  8. Roll some balls in Ground Nuts
  9. Roll some balls in Chopped Dried Beef
  10. Refrigerate until serving

Notes

  • Makes 50 balls

Modern Notes

  • The Parsely, Ground nuts, and Dried Beef are for the outside of the balls. It seems likely you could use only some of them, omit one of the options, and try out other options. –David S
