Eggs | 6 | Separate whites and yolks |
Sugar | 3/4 cup | Separate into 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup portions |
Rich Cream | 1 pint | |
Whole Milk | 1 pint | |
Blended Whiskey | 1 pint | |
Jamaican Rum | 1.5 oz | |
Nutmeg | Grated |
Method
- Beat egg whites to very stiff peaks
- Add 1/4 cup sugar tp egg whites
- Beat egg yolks
- Add 1/2 cup sugar to yolks while beating
- Mix the whites with the yolks
- Stir in cream and milk
- Add Whiskey and Rum
- Stir thoroughly
Notes
- Serve from punbch bowl
- Serve with grated nutmeg on each glass
- Makes 5 pints egg nog
- Served every Easter after morning church
