Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Salt Pork 1/2 lb  
Onion 1 large Chopped
Potatoes 2 med. Cubed
Chicken Broth 2 cups  
Salt 1 tsp  
Corn 1 1/2 cups Cut from the cob
Seasoned Pepper 1/2 tsp  
Half + Half 2 cups  

Method

  1. Chop onion
  2. Cube potatoes
  3. Cut corn from cob
  4. Soak pork in boiling water for 5 minutes
  5. Cut soaked pork into 1 inch by 1/4 inch strips
  6. Fry pork strips until crisp
  7. Remove pork strips from heat and set aside
  8. Saute onions in the fat used to fry the pork
  9. Add potatoes and broth to sauteed onions
  10. Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender
  11. Add corn, salt, and pepper
  12. Cook 5 minutes
  13. Stir in Half + Half
  14. Bring to a boil
  15. Sprinkle top with pork strips
