Asparagus | 2 boxes | |
Cheese | 1/2 lb | Velveeta, American, or Cheddar |
Butter | 2/3 cup | Melted |
Salt | To Taste | |
Cayenne | Few grains |
Method
- Cook asparagus as directed
- Drain asparagus and transfer to greased shallow pan
- Sprinkle cheese on asparagus
- Melt butter and pour over cheese
- Salt to taste
- Add Cayenne
- Put under broiler until cheese browns slightly
