Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Ground Beef 1 1/2 lbs  
Green Peppers 1 lb Chopped
Onions 1 lb Chopped
Celery 6 ribs With leaves - Cut fine
Mushrooms 8 oz Recipe specifies one 8 Oz can
Tomato Soup 1 can  
Tomato Sauce 1 large can  
Stuffed Olives 1 small jar  
Pennsylvania Dutch Noodles 1 lb Cooked
American Cheese 1/2 lb Grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Cook noodles and drain
  3. Chop Green Peppers, and Onions
  4. Finely cut up Celery
  5. Brown meat slightly
  6. Add Onions, peppers, and Celery
  7. Steam until tender
  8. Add mushrooms, tomato soup, tomato sauce, cooked Noodles, and Olives
  9. Mix well and transfer to roasting pan
  10. Grate cheese if necessary and put on top of roasting pan
  11. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is light brown

Notes

  • Gran prefers to bake this 1 hour, then add the cheese and bake longer until cheese is light brown.
