Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Oysters 1 pint 24 oysters if small
Creamed Corn 1 can Country Style Corn
Pepperidge Farm Dressing 1 package  
Mushrooms 1 can  
Cream Of Celery Soup 1 can Optional - Use this or cream of mushroom or neithe but not both
Cream Of Mushroom Soup 1 can Optional - Use this or cream of mushroom or neithe but not both

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. put Oysters into baking dish
  3. Add Corn and mix
  4. Add Dressing and mix
  5. Add mushrooms and mix
  6. Add soup if desired and mix
  7. Bake for 45 minutes

Notes

Modern Notes

  • The recipe calls for “country style corn (creamed)”. Some googling suggests country style is a way of preparing corn rather than a brand name, and I beleive creamed corn is a more commonly used way of describing this food, so I went with that name for the ingredient. – David S
  • I assume Gran means that the prep work before it goes in the oven is quick, rather than the baking time. I don’t consider 45 minutes quick. – David S
