Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Unflavored Gelatin 6 envelopes  
Tomato Juice 6 cups Divided
Lemon Juice 2/3 cups  
Salt 1 1/2 tsp  
Worcestershire Sauce 1 Tbsp  
Horseradish 1/3 cup  
Mayonnaise 3 cups  
Cooked Seafood 6 cups Shrimp, Crab, or Lobster
Celery 3 cups Chopped

Method

  1. Chop celery
  2. Place 3 cups tomato juice into a deep saucepan
  3. Sprinkle Gelatin over tomato juice in saucepan
  4. Place saucepan over moderate heat
  5. Stir in remaining Tomato Juice, and all ingredients other than Seafood and Celery
  6. Beat until smooth
  7. Chill and stir occassionally until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon
  8. Add seafod and celery
  9. Turn into two 8 cup molds
  10. Chill until firm
  11. Unmold

Notes

  • Serve with salad greens
